SKIN BOOSTER treatments are essentially subcutaneous microinjections that contain a special type of hyaluronic acid. MESOTHERAPY is based on injections of proven and safe substances, such as vitamins, antioxidants and peptides, but a little more superficial (intradermal) and with a needle or injection devices. With this, Dr. Villamarín seeks to improve the quality of the skin and rejuvenate it or even eliminate spots or scars. These injections, as well as MICRONEEDLING or the simple use of microneedles under local anesthesia, seek to induce new collagen in the skin and tighten flaccid skin, making it smoother. There is little discomfort but topical anesthesia is usually used. Bruising, redness and itching may be experienced after treatment. For optimal results, several sessions are recommended.
