Superficial as well as deeper chemical peels are a surefire way to improve and beautify the appearance of your skin, especially if your skin is blotchy, rough or coarse, poor in quality, or suffers from of wrinkles or damage from acne or the sun. Dr. Villamarín applies them to the face, neck and even hands, with the appropriate concentration and caution and adapted to the type and fineness of the skin, especially on the neck. He has different types of medical and surgical peels, which act at different depths and have their own particular perioperative protocol.

The treatment is carried out in the center and Dr. Villamarín will carry out a thorough study of the patient to decide if he is a candidate or not. If it is, the treatment plan and preoperative and postoperative measures will be discussed. Under local anesthesia, Dr. Villamarín applies the appropriate type of exfoliant or peeling for each patient and skin area. There may be transient itching, burning or swelling after treatment. Three or more sessions per year are recommended.
