Post Procedure Care

After the procedure, we will begin medication and post-operative recommendations and you will be discharged for the initial discharge. Cold packs will be used to reduce swelling for the first two days after the procedure. There will be follow-up as per protocol to monitor healing and make sure all your questions are answered.

Recovery

Recovery is mainly related to swelling and in rare cases with bruising. Recovery typically takes 7-14 days, depending on the procedures performed, and we recommend planning two weeks off work or social engagements to allow plenty of time to recover.

Minor swelling continues to improve steadily for up to several weeks after the procedure. Exercise can be resumed 2 to 3 weeks after the procedure, depending on the nature of the activity and the degree of inflammation involved.
